Beverley Holsted - She serves as West Union Jr. Sr. High School Gear Up Advisor.  Her role is to prepare students for higher education  beyond high school.  She  has been at West Union High School for one year.  She develops programs that are implemented in the classrooms, creates study skills, promotes college awareness to students 7- 12 grades, provides financial aid opportunities works with the local media and creates teaching tools that provide interest in higher education.  She began an after school program called the "High Expectations Club" for 7th grade students.  The program is based on career goal setting, increasing interest for higher education, encourage a high GPA, improve study skills, achieve time management skills, discover college exploration budget planning, decision making skills, inspire student leadership roles and life skills.  She is married , has two daughters, and two granddaughters.  She graduated from Ripley Union Lewis Huntington High School.  She attended Southern State Community College. She works through the Southern Ohio Center of Excellence program located at Southern State Community College.  She worked for the Ohio State University Extension Service in Brown County, for over 10 years.  She began working with the OCAN program (Ohio College Access Network) in the Eastern & Ripley High Schools for 2 years.

David Pryor – He serves as the West Union Project Reach Specialist. This is his first year at West Union. He graduated from Riverside High School in Charleston, West Virginia. He received his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Kentucky. He is currently working on his Master’s at Wright State University. He coaches basketball and soccer at Peebles High School.

Cindy Kratzer is the part-time Clerical Assistant for the GearUp Program at West Union.  She works at Ohio State University Extension in Georgetown, Ohio, where she has been employed for over 7 years.
