I want to start by thanking you for your interest in Peebles Elementary School. We believe that we are the “Best School on Earth,” and hope we can prove this to you. First of all, we believe this because we have the best students in the world. Our students come to school every day with a smile on their face and ready to learn. Secondly, we have the best teaching staff in the world as demonstrated by our Excellent Rating from the Ohio Department of Education. We have teachers who work hard every day to ensure that our kids get a top notch education. In my 12 years here at PES, our building has always gone forward in designation from the State Department, never backwards. This is a fact that our staff is very proud of. Lastly, we believe that we are the best school in the world because of our community. We have the privilege of serving the Peebles, Locust Grove, Sinking Spring, and Jacksonville areas, where our families understand the importance of an education.

Because we are the “Best School on Earth,” we have set very high expectations for our children, both academically and behaviorally. We believe that every child has the potential to learn great amounts with the right inspiration, and it is our job to help inspire them. We also believe that a productive learning environment is essential to the success of all students, and will not allow anyone to disrupt this environment for our children. Lastly, we expect that all students read every day. We want children to find literature that inspires them and gets them excited about reading. We know that readers are leaders!

In conclusion, I am very proud to be a part of our family, and serving as your assistant principal at Peebles Elementary School for nearly 12 years.
