In August 1997, The Ohio General Assembly passed Senate Bill 55, which requires the Ohio Department of Education to issue report cards to every school district in Ohio beginning in 2000. In the following pages, you will find information about how well our schools are doing - where they are succeeding and where there is room for improvement. While this report card cannot tell you everything about your school district's performance, it is a good starting point for discussion with teachers, administrators and school board members.
