Public School Choice (PSC) and Public School Choice (PSC) As required by the Federal Law – No Child Left Behind (NCLB), West Union Elementary School has been designated as a school in need of improvement. Because of this designation, the students qualify for Public School Choice (PSC). They may choose to transfer to North Adams Elementary School or Peebles Elementary School. Supplemental Education
Service (SES)
Under the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act, school districts in second year School Improvement Status are required to provide parents and their children with the option of using supplemental educational services to help their children. Parents who meet the income limits qualify for free tutoring for their student(s). West Union Elementary School is in the second year of School Improvement Status as of the 2009-2010 school year.
